Ye Ya Workshop
Workers at the Ye Ya Workshop repair lawnmowers, whipper snippers and other small mechanical equipment necessary for Bawinanga to maintain housing and homelands. Wherever possible we use scrap parts to efficiently and economically rebuild broken equipment.
The workshop also has an aluminium welding bay where we fabricate small boats, crocodile traps, mud crab pots and other aluminium products.
Car Recycling Yard
Participants in this program recycle and re-purpose scrap metal and vehicle parts. We disassemble irreparable vehicles and machinery, sort and clean salvageable parts and metal. Secondhand parts are sold through Bawinanga’s spare parts shop next door.
