Property Services Administration Officer

We are seeking a practical and organised Property Services Administration Officer to support the coordination of staff housing and property services in Maningrida. Please note: this job does not come with housing and relocation assistance and is best suited for people already in Maningrida.

This is a hands-on role that combines office administration with practical on-the-ground work supporting staff housing. You will help prepare houses for incoming staff and visitors, coordinate cleaning and maintenance, respond to housing requests and assist the team with day-to-day property administration.

The role suits someone who enjoys variety, is organised and proactive, and is comfortable working both in an office and out in the community. The successful applicant will take pride in keeping staff housing clean, organised and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

· Support day-to-day administration for staff housing and property services

· Prepare staff housing and accommodation for new staff and visitors (linen, welcome packs and supplies)

· Coordinate vacate and set-up cleans of staff houses and accommodation

· Receive and record maintenance requests from staff and tenants

· Log and track maintenance jobs and assist with coordinating repairs and minor works

· Assist with routine property checks and inspections

· Maintain housing registers, inventories and records

· Provide general administration support including purchase orders, invoices, timesheets and data entry

· Assist with contractor coordination such as cleaning, pest control and maintenance

· Respond to housing enquiries and assist with bookings and tenancy paperwork

About You

You will be someone who is practical, organised and enjoys helping things run smoothly.

Essential:

· Strong organisational and administrative skills

· A practical, proactive attitude and willingness to assist across a range of tasks

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

· Good communication and customer service skills

· Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

· Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal staff and community members

· Current driver’s licence

Desirable:

· Experience working in housing, facilities or property administration

· Experience working in remote communities

· Experience using job management systems such as ServiceM8

· Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and communities
