Workshop Service Advisor / Admin Assistant

BAC is a large and complex regional community development organisation providing services to homelands in the Maningrida region, administering some 30 grants and managing a suite of businesses and programs including:  Housing, Civil Works, Essential Services, Women’s Centre, Djelk Rangers, Barlmarrk Supermarket, Fuel Supplies, Mechanical Workshops, Arts and Culture/Djomi Museum, Good Food Kitchen, Outdoor Supplies, Night Patrol, Employment Services and Money Management Services.

This position is responsible for the vehicle maintenance within the BAC Workshop.

You will be familiar with workshop machinery, automotive parts, job/labour pricing, invoicing and general workshop procedures. We require a strong team player who will be an integral link between the service department and management. With excellent communication skills and the ability to show initiative, you will be required to assist the mechanics with necessary parts and service requirements.  You will enjoy providing top level service to our internal and external customers.

Duties would include but not be limited to;

Taking customer enquiries and service bookings
Determining workshop priority jobs
Manage all administration,
Parts management, sales and orders
Freight, courier and dispatch operation globally
Data entry
Liaising with customers, suppliers and agents
Providing accurate estimates and quotes
Scheduling follow-up services and future bookings
