Bring your museum, gallery or archive experience to work across collections held in:

The Cultural Research Office Archives at Maningrida Arts & Culture
The Djomi Museum, Maningrida
The Maningrida Collection held in trust at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney
You will have a sound knowledge of ICIP, TCK, museum practice, arts administration, and experience managing project budgets and reporting and be open to be mentored and be a mentor.

You will enjoy and be able to build good working relationships with a wide range of people, especially with young people.

In addition to research and documentation work, while in Maningrida you will assist with Djomi Museum maintenance and tours, conservation work, digitization, other ad hoc duties as they relate to the museum and Cultural Research Office under the direction of the General Manager, arts & culture, and the Senior Aboriginal Liaison Officer, Maningrida Arts & Culture Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation and the with outcomes reported to curatorial staff at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

A letter of introduction
A statement against your knowledge of museum practices and cultural competencies
A current resume with two professional referees
Timeframes / Availability between March and September for a total of 18 weeks
Budget / Quote
Weekly / Monthly rates based on 5 days per week and 7.6 hours per day
Return airfares to Maningrida and accommodation in Darwin across either the entire 18-week period or return flights for 2-3 separate blocks
Please note: Accommodation will be provided in a share house in Maningrida rent and utilities free

Own laptop (a Mac workstation and shared office space available)
