Who you are

You are self-driven, passionate about art with experience working in a cross-cultural environment, or have knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal protocol. You will be strong in administrative support ranging from general office administration through to accounting, and will have a valid driver’s licence, police clearance and first aid certificate.

Any experience living in a remote area, knowledge of the Aboriginal arts industry or knowledge of arts practice and materials will send your application to the top!

What you will be doing

You will provide administrative support to Maningrida Arts & Culture division under the direction of the Arts Centre Manager. The opportunity exists due to recent regrowth and expansion of the activities of the Art Centre and other parts of the Arts & Culture Division.

At the forefront is providing high-level services to our primary internal stakeholders – artists and cultural custodians of the larger Maningrida region and in turn the delivery of highest-level outcomes for our external partners including institutions, galleries, retail outlets, government and philanthropic organisations.

This is achieved, in this role, through the administrative support of our diverse, talented and culturally knowledgeable teams. While the role is primarily with the Art Centre, reporting to the Art Centre Manager, you will be also supporting the administrative needs of the Cultural Research Office and the Djomi Museum.
